I'm a cool guy!
Age: 1 year

Muneco is a 1 year old male Pekingese who is looking for a loving family that will make a lifetime commitment. His previous caretakers sent him to a shelter because they were moving. The shelters are overwhelmed with pets right now and have no room for anything unless they euthanize to make space. Muneco was transfered to A.R.I. to give another dog a little more time. This little guy is great with other dogs, loves children and is an all around sweet boy. If you are interested in a family member who will need daily hugs, kisses and brushing.....stop in to meet Muneco!!

Animal Rescue is looking for people to help as Volunteers with special events, clinics, mailings, writing thank you's and other "chores" that we need help with! If you have spare time to donate to the homeless pets here at A.R.I., please gve us a call!!!

Resident Sponsor of the Week

Tex is a sweet little boy that picks his people. He thinks Kevin is his daddy and follows him around all day. Tex is very protective of his “house” and has a reputation of being an ankle biter. We all love him anyway and just take extra precautions entering his “realm”. Tex has a neat personality. He loves to show off his Misfits bandana and dressing up. Tex was found tied to a tree about 5 years ago and unfortunately hasn’t found his forever home.

Awards Grant for Spay/Neuter

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to The Snyder Foundation for Animals, Inc. for the most generous $10,000.00 grant the Foundation awarded to our Spay/Neuter Program. The funding is to be used to sterilize rescued Maryland cats.

This grant will enable us to increase the number of cats we are able to sterilize through our Spay/Neuter Program and help us target a larger number of cats living in feral cat colonies. Since feral cats are the most prolific breeders of any population of cats, each one sterilized has the potential to save the most lives and prevent the most suffering.

We are extremely grateful for The Snyder Foundation for Animals, Inc.’s support of this year’s project and for the continued support the Foundation has so generously shown to our shelter over the years.
