The Cottage, as it is affectionately called, is broken up into the Lower Cottage and the Upper Cottage. The Lower Cottage is our adoptable cat area, with friendly, heathy cats waiting for a forever home. The Upper Cottage is home to many long-term residents with behavioral or treatable medical issues.
Betty White House is also a home to many cats. This building was named after its first resident, a small white and brown tiger gal, who was named after the actress.
The Clinic is our medical facility where we do everything from get well visits to major surgery for our residents. It is also used for our low cost spay/neuter program.
The Cattery is a facility that is located in the Putty Hill area of Baltimore, Maryland. This facility houses cats only and can be visited by appointment only. To get in contact with The Cattery, phone 410-661-7626. If no one answers, leave a message and someone will return your call.
Luv-A-Pet Centers are located in PetSmart stores in Towson, White Marsh and Bel Air, Maryland. Each of these stores has cats from Animal Rescue, Inc. who are available for adoption.
The Memorial Garden is a garden at the main shelter that was started by founder Grace Froelich as a memorial to her mother. Next to the beautiful gardens there is a brick patio area where people can buy a brick that we have engraved for them and place in our memorial garden. (We can also give or send it to you to put in your own garden.)
